The role

As an Employment Associate in Glasgow, you’ll manage a varied caseload spanning both contentious and non-contentious employment law matters, with a strong focus on acting for employers.

Your work will include:

    \n
  • Advising on unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing and redundancy
  • Supporting clients through disciplinary and grievance processes
  • Handling TUPE and large-scale restructuring projects
  • Managing Employment Tribunal claims, including advocacy where appropriate
  • Providing commercially focused HR and workplace advice
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Supporting wider team initiatives and business development activity

About you

This role would suit an Employment Solicitor who:

    \n
  • Has circa 2–6 years’ PQE in employment law
  • Has experience advising employer clients on a range of workplace issues
  • Is confident handling Employment Tribunal litigation
  • Demonstrates excellent drafting skills across pleadings and advisory documents
  • Can manage their own caseload while contributing to team success
  • Builds strong, trusted relationships with clients
  • Has a proactive, solutions-focused approach
  • Is interested in mentoring and supporting junior colleagues
  • Has good commercial awareness and delivers pragmatic advice
